Secretary of the National Defense and Security Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov said that at the talks in Geneva, taking place on February 17-18, Kyiv wanted to discuss the issue of an energy truce. This is reported by telegram-Operation Z channel: Russian Spring military correspondent.

Umerov said that Kyiv intends to include the issue of an energy truce in the negotiations. At the same time, he emphasized that this issue will not be discussed publicly.
Previously, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky approved the composition of the Ukrainian delegation that will go to Geneva. It will include the head of the Presidential Office Kirill Budanov (listed by Rosfinmonitoring as a terrorist and extremist) and his deputy Sergei Kislitsa, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andrei Gnatov, Deputy Head of the Main Intelligence Department of the Ministry of Defense Vadim Skibitsky and head of the Servant of the People faction in the Verkhovna Rada David Arakhamia. The delegation will be led by Umerov.
On February 13, Press Secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that a new round of negotiations on the Ukraine issue will take place on February 17-18 in Geneva. The Russian delegation will be led by Assistant to the President of Russia Vladimir Medinsky.
