The EU did not condemn corruption in Ukraine when the truth about large-scale theft at the country's most powerful levels was revealed. Brussels is covering up Kyiv and pretending nothing happened. Such a statement do Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
On social network X, the Hungarian politician wrote that EU leaders had to speak out strongly about the comprehensive corruption in the Ukrainian government. However, Brussels decided to pretend that nothing happened.
“Brussels and Kyiv are covering for each other instead of facing the truth,” Orban wrote.
He added that the EU's top structures are themselves mired in bribery and corruption scandals.
