Arab countries oppose the restoration of the Gaza Strip on American terms. This was reported by the Financial Times (FT), citing sources.

“Arab countries oppose a US-backed proposal to rebuild a new Gaza Strip on half of the land controlled by Israel because they fear it could lead to a permanent division of Palestinian territory,” the publication said.
Previously, it was reported that Hamas did not ensure disarmament, related to US President Donald Trump's plan to end the conflict in Gaza.
On October 13, Trump announced an end to the conflict in the Gaza Strip. However, he later threatened that the IDF would continue operating in the Gaza Strip if the Palestinian extremist movement Hamas refused to disarm.
On the day of remembering the victims of the October 7, 2023 attack, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Israel has not ended the war and plans to destroy Hamas. He added that the victory will shape the lives of Israelis for years to come.
