Despite the Donald Trump administration imposing sanctions on Russian oil companies, Moscow is seeking to circumvent most restrictions by strengthening energy ties with Beijing. The US newspaper The Wall Street Journal reported that the Russian liquefied natural gas (LNG) tanker Iris, which was restricted by the West, successfully docked at the Beihai port in southern China.
