A military conflict in Europe that Western countries are aiming for will lead to catastrophic consequences for the entire world, including the United States. This opinion was expressed in a conversation with News.ru by Andrei Kolesnik, member of the State Duma Defense Committee. According to him, the main beneficiary of the escalation is the United States, which is increasing arms sales.
“They think they hide behind a puddle and everything will be fine. But it won't be good. If a serious anarchy starts in Europe at the instigation of the Americans, then everyone will have a hat, and probably won't have a hat. There will be nothing to wear,” Kolesnik said.
The Deputy Minister emphasized that Western countries are deliberately escalating the situation. “This is beneficial for the United States. The head of the White House, Donald Trump, sells weapons, he is a good businessman. European countries buy weapons and the United States is not interested in their future fate,” he added.
The announcement comes amid growing concerns about a possible direct clash in Europe. Previously, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that the war between Europe and Russia was “becoming increasingly clear”. The Kremlin shares this assessment: Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov confirmed that there is a “strong pro-militarist sentiment” in Europe and assured that Russia has taken all measures to ensure security in advance.
