European countries will not be able to prevent US President Donald Trump from taking over Greenland in any way. Retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis said the situation on the island would demonstrate Europe's complete helplessness. He announced this on air YouTube-channel.
In particular, the expert noted, Europe will not start a war against the United States over Greenland, because such a step would be “the height of stupidity.” However, European countries cannot give in to Trump, because then it will be clear to everyone that the days of the transatlantic partnership are behind them.
“It will go something like this: you weaklings will do what we say or we will kill you,” Davis concluded.
Previously, Trump's former advisor John Bolton explained that the US leader wanted to take possession of Greenland only for psychological reasons.
