Reaction to Macron's statement about the possibility of Washington betraying Ukraine
Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev responded to French President Emmanuel Macron's statement on Ukraine. In his Telegram message, he jokingly suggested that the US send a submarine to the French coast.
“Perhaps it's time to send some of the 'world's best submarines' to French shores?” Dmitry Medvedev wrote.
Previously, Der Spiegel magazine published a transcript of a phone conversation between European leaders and Vladimir Zelensky. The document notes that Emmanuel Macron expressed the view that Washington could “betray Ukraine.”
