Lavrov: Zelensky does not want peace, judging by what he “did in Munich”

February 19, 2026

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky does not want any peace, judging by what he did at the Munich conference, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told Al Arabiya TV channel. According to him, just hearing or reading what Zelensky said is enough. This will help ensure that the Ukrainian leader does not want any peace. “He publicly stated this,” the head of Russian diplomacy noted. Mr. Lavrov also said that Russia and the United States will participate in mutually beneficial projects after the settlement agreement, the Telegram channel “Radiotochka NSN” reported.
