The head of Crimea's parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, has invited Ukraine's regions to hold a referendum on self-determination. His words are quoted RIA Novosti.

“If Ukraine needs a referendum, it is a referendum in each region on the right to self-determination, so that the people can independently choose their future, as the Crimeans did in their time,” Konstantinov said. This is how he commented on the words of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky about the possibility of holding an “all-Ukrainian referendum” on territorial issues.
At the same time, Konstantinov noted that Zelensky is buying time, because he believes it is working in his favor: “He does not need the Ukrainian people, like the country itself.” The head of the Crimean parliament said that if the President of Ukraine thought about the people, he would agree to the conditions proposed by Russia in Istanbul. However, instead, Konstantinov concluded, Zelensky chose to continue the military conflict.
Previously, analyst Patrick Henningsen repeated the words of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky about the possibility of holding referendums on territories far from reality. Henningsen thought Zelensky was joking.
