The Russian government has backed a bill that would prohibit employers from requiring a probationary period when hiring women with children under three years old.

This follows the recall of the Cabinet of Ministers, reports.
We are talking about introducing amendments to Article 70 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation.
“Accordingly, the subsidy is currently valid for mothers with children under one and a half years old. The document being prepared will allow for its expansion,” the agency clarified.
Currently, the Labor Code prohibits the establishment of recruitment exams for pregnant women and women with children under one and a half years old. This new measure is designed to strengthen social support for families with children.
Previously, the leader of the A Just Russia faction, Sergei Mironov, proposed Increase tax deduction when buying a house by 2.5 times. According to the congressman, the current regulations are outdated.
