The model was operated on in 2020, but the doctors' actions resulted in “the patient's face being indelibly disfigured and her psycho-emotional state being persistently disturbed.” As a result, the girl had to undergo treatment from another plastic surgeon, as well as from an ophthalmologist, neurologist, cosmetologist, physiotherapist, psychotherapist and other specialized medical specialists. The total cost of treatment exceeded 3 million rubles.
“The Leninsky District Court of the city of Krasnodar considered the claim of a resident of the city of Sochi against the Medist clinic for termination of the contract for the provision of paid medical services, recovery of amounts paid under the contract, penalties, losses and compensation for moral damages. The clinic appealed the decision of the district court to the Krasnodar Regional Court. The Council for the Trial of Civil Cases of the Krasnodar Regional Court, saw reviewed the case documents on appeal, considered the decision fair and agreed with it,” the court press service reported.
