The State Duma proposed tightening regulations on the employment of migrants in businesses owned by foreign citizens.

The authors of this initiative are deputies Sergei Mironov and Fedot Tumusov. They submitted a corresponding bill to the State Duma for consideration.
According to the document, a foreign citizen can become an employer if two conditions are met – his individual entrepreneur status must be at least three years old and during this period he has not violated laws, including tax and labor laws.
Before reportedthat in St. Petersburg, the ban on migrants working as taxis and couriers has been extended until 2026.
