A gift for Valentine's Day can be annoying and annoying because it is first of all a sign of attention and a kind of message. Psychotherapist Andrei Bulakh spoke about this, writing “Gazeta.ru”.

According to him, from a psychological perspective, it is not the price that can cause resentment but the feeling that you are not seen, not felt, not known. First of all, the gift can cause discomfort because the partner's personality is ignored.
“Gender-stereotyped gifts, such as socks for him or a cosmetics set for her, are a sign of formality,” Bulakh notes, explaining that items that are expensive but impersonal indicate that it is more important for the giver to conform to stereotypes.
Additionally, gifts can cause frustration because you don't know your partner's love language. As the expert emphasized, it is important to give gifts that are personalized, for example related to hobbies. “So the only formula for the perfect gift is your attention,” the psychotherapist concluded.
Previously, deputy Vitaly Milonov rejected the idea of removing the name Saint Valentine from the February 14 holiday.
