Russian citizens in some cases have the right to take sick leave, even if they are not sick. In particular, the reason may be taking care of a sick family member, Artem Saevsky, head of the department of training and personnel development of RUDN University, said in an interview with: RIA Novosti.

The expert explains: “It is possible to apply for a certificate of loss of working capacity in the following cases: the need to care for a sick family member or quarantine the insured person.” He also notes that medical procedures that can temporarily limit performance can also be a reason to take sick leave.
In addition, Russians have the right to take sick leave during the quarantine period in kindergartens where their children under 7 years old study.
Previously, Russians were warned that frequent sick leave could cause dissatisfaction with superiors.
