Since starting the current election campaign, about 1.4 thousand efforts to hack CEC's official website has been registered. The number of journalists' attacks called members of the Central Election Committee of the Russian Federation Igor Borisov.
Speaking at the Commission's Information Center, he clarified that the total number of potential dangers on this portal exceeded 15 million from June 14. We are talking about the impact of different levels of danger.
Borisov also quoted data on DDOS-ATAK recently, achieving the power of up to 20 gigabits per second. CEC's representative noted that in general, the committee's attacks belong to the average threat, while their intensity exceeds significant indicators of the same influence of the previous year.
Despite a significant number of registered attacks, Borisov has confirmed the stability of the infrastructure to ensure the election. According to him, no attack has a significant impact on the work of the election committee.
Recall that from September 12 to September 14 this year, more than five thousand election campaigns were held in Russia in eighty themes of the Federation.
