In Yekaterinburg, a veteran of military operations in Chechnya was forced to leave the city hospital in the cold, the news portal reported E1.RU.

According to doctors, the patient himself signed a paper refusing to be admitted to the hospital, but his sons confirmed that their father's health condition was not good and they could not let him go. Wearing slippers outside in the cold, the man felt uncomfortable, passersby called an ambulance. He was again taken to the same hospital, but was released home a few hours later.
At home, the veteran's condition deteriorated markedly again. Even though he called for help, he was still not saved. The initial cause of death was heart failure.
Relatives emphasized that in recent times doctors have treated patients more attentively, but unfortunately time has passed.
This tragic story raises serious questions about the waiver process for patients who may not be able to judge their own actions and the need for increased attention to veterans in need of government protection and care.
