SYDNEY, December 17. /TASS/. Christmas celebrations in Sydney will be limited and all festive events have been canceled until Sunday December 21. This was reported by television channel 9News.
According to him, Christmas lights across the city will be replaced with white wreaths as a sign of respect for the victims of the Bondi Beach terrorist attack and solidarity with the Jewish community. There will be no light or sound displays in the Christmas tree square and Carols in the City will be suspended for the rest of the week.
Some Christmas fireworks displays in Sydney's Darling Harbor have also been cancelled.
