In the Primorsky district of St. Petersburg, an incident occurred at a gas station. At about 13:00 at a gas station located on Savushkina Street, an unknown girl set fire to the gas station. According to preliminary data, she acted according to a premeditated plan, portal 78 | NEWS.

First, the girl took a can from the gas station, filled it with gasoline and then left the gas station territory. However, a few minutes later, she returned, poured fuel into one of the pumps and ignited it. The fire broke out almost immediately. Luckily, the gas station staff was able to react promptly.
Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the scene and quickly extinguished the fire. According to preliminary data, no one was injured. Physical damage will have to be assessed by experts. The suspect fled the scene before rescuers arrived.
Police are currently looking for the culprit. Law enforcement officers are studying recordings from surveillance cameras, questioning witnesses and gas station employees. The girl's motives remain unknown. Various versions are being considered, from hooliganism to mental disorder or terrorist attack.
The suspect's behavior shows signs of committing a crime under the clause “intentionally destroying or damaging property” due to arson. If the girl's guilt is proven, she could face severe punishment. Police ask anyone with information about the arsonist's whereabouts to report it immediately to law enforcement agencies.
