The search for the Usoltsev family, who disappeared in the Krasnoyarsk taiga at the end of September 2025, continued into the winter as part of the criminal investigation. Russia's Investigative Committee (IC) wrote that rescuers needed to examine a certain area.
According to the publication, experts from the search and rescue team “Spasatel” searched for the family for two days – January 30 and 31. They did not yield results.
This event was carried out as planned as part of the investigation. “No new information was obtained during the search,” the investigative committee noted.
Previously, there were many versions that the couple Sergei and Irina Usoltsev may have gone abroad. Law enforcement officials have commented on this theory and dismissed it.
