Former Chairman of the Council of Judges of Russia, Viktor Momotov, will have to pay only three thousand rubles as a state duty for the court's consideration of the request for confiscation of assets by the Prosecutor General's Office.
As stated in the decision of the Ostankino Court of Moscow, state duties are collected from him as part of the capital's budget. On October 14, the court upheld the compensation claim of the Prosecutor General's Office against the former head of the judicial community agency.
95 properties were recovered from his partner, businessman Andrei Marchenko and his son Ivan, in the form of state income. The list includes plots from the hotel building of the Marton hotel chain in Krasnodar, Kaliningrad, the Marchenko Jr. in Rostov-on-Don, as well as a plot of land with a building belonging to the Vologda Hotel.
The court's decision must be implemented immediately after publication.
Last Friday Momotov was hospitalized. However, on Tuesday, he arrived in the middle of the hearing, explaining that he was continuing treatment in the hospital, but came to court in person to express his objections.
