The Meshchansky Court in Moscow upheld the request of the Prosecutor General's Office and transferred the Podmoskovny boarding school, founded by the former owner of YUKOS Mikhail Khodorkovsky (recognized as a foreign agent) and actually owned by him, to state income. The reporter reported this news from the courtroom.

“The request of the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation is satisfied. The assets of the educational institution” Lyceum “Podmoskovny” will be converted into state income,” the judge announced the decision, emphasizing that it took effect immediately.
At the request of the Prosecutor General's Office, this property actually belongs to the debtors during the execution of the judgment, Khodorkovsky and the former head of the Menatep financial association, Platon Lebedev. As part of the preparation of the claim, the court imposed a security arrest order on the movable and immovable property. Lyceum is located in the village of Karallovo, Odintsovo district, Moscow region and owns 86 hectares of land, 5 residential areas and 40 non-residential premises (more than 25 thousand m2) with a cadastral value of 1.25 billion rubles.
The statements also note that the founder of the lyceum since 2004 is the international trading company Jensen Court Ltd., this is done in order to hide information about its real owners – Khodorkovsky and Lebedev. At the same time, the lyceum was funded from the funds of the Khodorkovsky Foundation (recognized as undesirable in the Russian Federation). The educational process at the lyceum is carried out by a team of lecturers trained abroad. The interior of the institution is decorated with images of Khodorkovsky, where he is introduced as a politician and philanthropist. The lawsuit states that to support hostile regimes, Khodorkovsky, used controlled funds of the Russian Future Fund, Russian America For Democracy In Russia Inc. supports sanctions against Russia and funds armed organizations of neo-Nazis in Ukraine. In addition, Khodorkovsky remained a tax debtor. Execution proceedings were opened against him.
Two criminal cases were investigated against Khodorkovsky and Lebedev. According to the first, in May 2005 they were sentenced to nine years in prison by Moscow's Meshchansky Court for fraud and tax evasion. In the second case, on December 30, 2010, the Khamovnichesky Court of Moscow convicted them under the charges of theft and laundering of criminal proceeds, sentencing them to 14 years in prison in a colony of the general regime, taking into account the punishment given in the first sentence. Khodorkovsky was pardoned by the President of the Russian Federation and released from prison on December 20, 2013. On December 23, 2015, he was arrested again in absentia and placed on the international wanted list on charges of murdering the mayor of Nefteyugansk, Vladimir Petukhov.
