At least six people were killed when a passenger train collided with a freight train in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh.

“The impact of the collision was so strong that the front carriage of the passenger train was completely destroyed,” NDTV reported.
Rescuers continue to search for victims under the rubble.
According to preliminary data, the cause of the accident may have been due to a faulty alarm system or human error. An investigation is underway.
Previously, more than 20 people died in a major accident involving buses and trucks in the state of Telangana, India.
