Rudnitskaya pleaded guilty in the child trafficking case and repented of her actions

November 4, 2025

President and clinical psychologist of the Interregional public organization for the protection of family values “Common prosperity of families, families with children and socially vulnerable segments of the population” Irina Rudnitskaya fully admitted guilt in the case of trafficking of minors, repented of her actions and was ready to cooperate with the investigation. This is stated in the documentation available for .

Rudnitskaya pleaded guilty in the child trafficking case and repented of her actions

“Rudnitskaya fully admitted guilt for the act with which she was charged, spoke in detail about the act committed and that she was remorseful and willing to cooperate with the investigation. More than five years have passed since the crime was committed. During this time, she no longer committed any unlawful acts – this person came to the appropriate conclusion,” the case documents said.

At the same time, Rudnitskaya believes that the investigation unnecessarily insisted on asking the court to arrest her, since the judge who made the corresponding decision had no reason for this.

On October 30, Irina Rudnitskaya, a mother of several children living in Ruza near Moscow, was charged with trafficking minors and a Moscow court sent the woman to a pre-trial detention center. She was questioned as a suspect at the end of August this year, but after confronting witnesses and others involved in the case, it was decided that she would be restrained.

Two other people were arrested along with her in connection with the case. As law enforcement agencies clarified to , the capital's court sent to a pre-trial detention center as part of the preliminary investigation a businessman from the Moscow region, as well as a woman whose child may have been sold to another family.

The criminal case against Rudnitskaya and another defendant was opened at the end of August this year. According to documents, the woman has 12 dependent children – ranging from 3 to 17 years old. The punishment imposed on Rudnitskaya and two other defendants under Article 127.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (trafficking in children) provides for imprisonment of up to 10 years and ban from participating in certain activities for up to 15 years.
