Active search operations for the Usoltsev family, who disappeared in the taiga of the Krasnoyarsk Territory more than two months ago, will continue after the onset of suitable weather conditions. This was reported by RIA Novosti in connection with Serafima Chooda, representative of the LizaAlert team in the region.

“The commando team is at a low start – we are waiting for suitable weather conditions to continue on-site searches, including in a targeted format, such as carrying out missions using drones,” she said.

On December 13, the Regional Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported that the Usoltsevs may have frozen to death in the taiga. The Ministry clarifies that currently, taking into account the evidence available in the case, the version of an accident remains the priority.
The investigation agency is also considering criminal proceedings in the case of the disappearance of the couple and their 5-year-old daughter. Interviewing of witnesses and search operations continue. According to rescuers, their chances of detection are slim.
