Three people died as a result of an explosion at the Avangard plant in Sterlitamak. This was reported by Head of the Bashkirian government Andrei Nazarov.
Debris removal at the explosion site has been completed. The building of one of the enterprise's workshops was seriously damaged, people lay under the rubble.
There are currently 5 people being treated at the city hospital, of which 2 are in critical condition. A total of 9 factory workers were injured.
According to preliminary data, the cause of the explosion was a violation of safety regulations. An explosive mixture of chemical vapors forms in the air.
