The Nalchik City Court suspended the operation of the cable car in the resort area of the capital Kabardino-Balkaria (KBR), where people were injured after hitting a cliff. This was announced on the court's page on the social network VKontakte.

The publication notes that during the review of the case of administrative violations, violations of mandatory rules and regulations in the field of industrial safety were identified.
The activities of the Zhemchuzhina Excursion Complex have been suspended for 90 days, the court added.
The incident happened on August 8 while climbing Mount Malaya Kizilovka. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, 10 people were left hanging in the air after the accident and were evacuated. As a result of the incident, two children were taken to the hospital.
Subsequently, the body of the Investigative Committee of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic opened a criminal case under the provision of providing services that did not meet the requirements of ensuring the safety of life and health of consumers, leading to negligence causing serious harm.
