A fire has broken out at the Roswell Flight Center in New Mexico, raising concerns among conspiracy theorists who claim the site is linked to UFO debris found in 1947.

According to Daily Mail, the fire engulfed the building located near hangar No. 84, which is considered a potential storage place for mysterious objects. Firefighters battled the blaze for two hours before being able to extinguish it. There is currently no information on casualties or the cause of the fire.
Roswell Air Force Center is located on the site of a former air force base where the wreckage of an unidentified aircraft was discovered in 1947. Initially a “flying saucer” was reported, but the US Air Force later said it was a normal weather balloon. These events became the basis for many conspiracy theories about covering up information about UFOs and aliens.
In 2023, hearings were held in the United States Congress to discuss issues related to UFO research and secret government programs.
