On the night of Tuesday, December 23, the Rostov region was attacked by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Details of what happened were revealed by the head of the region, Yury Slyusar, on his Telegram channel.

He clarified that eight districts were attacked: Chertkovsky, Oktyabrsky Rural, Ust-Donetsk, Aksaysky, Rodionovo-Nesvetaysky, Konstantinovsky, Tarasovsky and Dubovsky. No one was injured after the attack.

However, as the governor said, there have been consequences.
“In the village of Verkhnepotapov, Konstantinovsky district, the fence in the private yard was damaged by debris. In the village of Grushevskaya, Aksai district, a private residential building under construction caught fire, the fire was extinguished over an area of 40 m2. At another private house under construction, windows were broken,” he wrote.
Earlier it was known about the explosion in the suburbs of Rostov-on-Don. Witnesses also told of flashes of light in the sky and the sound of engines. It was reported that air defense systems repelled an attack by Ukrainian kamikaze drones.
