The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked Volgograd with the support of drones. Fragments of one of them fell into an apartment in a multi-storey building and a fire started. This is reported by telegram-Mash channel.
“Fragments of the drone fell on an apartment on the 11th floor, windows of neighboring houses were broken and the entrance was filled with smoke,” the report said.
It was clarified that in total the townspeople heard about ten explosions. The strongest of them were heard in the Krasnoarmeysky region. Air defense systems are now operational in Volgograd and a “carpeting” plan has been applied at the city's airport. There is currently no official information.
Previously, the Ministry of Defense reported the destruction of 36 drones over Russian areas in 4 hours. Most of the planes – 17 – were shot down in the Rostov region.
