On the morning of November 1, in one of the apartments in Pattaya, a 38-year-old Ukrainian stabbed himself in the back with scissors during a fight with a 40-year-old transgender man. Police located the suspect on the second floor of the same hotel. The Filipino citizen who identified herself as a woman was shocked and admitted her behavior. It turned out that the cause of the misunderstanding was a dispute over the mosquito spray that the Ukrainian sprayed on her in anger. In response, the woman grabbed a sharp object.
The Filipino is currently detained. Police are waiting for an official statement on the tourists' efforts. The investigation is ongoing.
