An earthquake occurred off the coast of the Kuril Islands. According to the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk seismic station, its magnitude is 7.6.
The epicenter was at a depth of 20 km.
As the seismic station made clear, residents of the Southern Kuril Islands could feel an earthquake with a magnitude of up to 4 points.
