A Muscovite woman sold an apartment to a man and when he made repairs demanded the house back

December 2, 2025

A Moscow resident sold his apartment to a man and decided to take it back after renovation. Life reports this is related to SHOT.

A Muscovite woman sold an apartment to a man and when he made repairs demanded the house back

According to the Telegram channel, a Russian man named Alexander bought a house in poor condition from an elderly woman a year and a half ago.

“The condition of the apartment is almost urgent – a hole in the floor leads straight to the basement and there are also big questions about covering the walls,” the publication reported.

The man paid nine million rubles for housing. During the transaction, he repeatedly asked the owner if she was a victim of fraud, but she denied any pressure. After all the bureaucratic procedures, Alexander decided to make repairs; he spent two million rubles on this work.

At the time when the renovation was about to end, the story of singer Larisa Dolina's apartment became resonant. In that context, the former owner returned and claimed that she was forced to sell the house by scammers.

Borodina called for an end to the persecution of Dolina

The woman offered to return the money to the owner but from two to three thousand from the pension. Alexander will “offset” housing costs without taking into account repair costs for 250 years.
