Today, a large fire broke out in the Tosnensky district of the Leningrad region. The fire signal came from the city of Telman, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported to REN TV.

The fire source was localized at Krasnoborskaya Street, 3A. According to the Regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire occurred in an unused one-story hangar.
The area engulfed in flames is about 1,700 square meters wide. Fire and rescue forces quickly arrived at the scene of the incident. 60 employees and 17 pieces of equipment participated in extinguishing the fire.
Currently, firefighters are trying to completely eliminate open burning. Their actions were complicated by the large fire area.
The circumstances and possible cause of the incident are being determined. The investigation agency has begun checking.
