Finding a collar to train a pet rooster has caused a lot of trouble for players in ARC Raiders, but this is just one step in a long series of quests. The best places to find lemons and apricots are the olive grove on the Green Gate map or the garden between the library and the town hall on the Buried City map. In both locations there are fruit trees that drop lemons or apricots (in olive groves – sometimes olives). Fruit can be found on the ground among the trees, but no one is stopping you from kicking the tree to shake it a bit more.
But remember – both locations are dangerous. Olive groves always attract many players, most likely they are also hunting for fruit; although there will probably be friendly raiders among them. The garden is surrounded by tall buildings and robots but is located right next to the evacuation point.
Occasionally, lemons and apricots can also be found in wicker baskets in residential areas. Additionally, the Lush Blooms modifier can increase the chance of dropping lemons, apricots, and other items from the nature category. If you notice this modifier on one of the maps, then immediately look for it.
Lemons and apricots are classified by the game as unusual, green items, so their glow is quite noticeable in the inventory. However, it's best to keep track of these items using a pet, as this option will add a unique icon above the item so you don't miss it.
Finally, like any other quest or valuable item, try to store fruit in a safe container if possible. This way you won't lose them if you get killed or can't evacuate.
