Valve has discontinued the 256GB Steam Deck LCD. Thus, the company has completely completed the line of laptops with LCD screens, only to sell OLED modifications, as reported on the Steam website.

According to an update on the device's Steam page, from now on only the 512GB and 1TB Steam Deck OLED versions will be available to customers. Previously, Valve abandoned the 64GB and 512GB LCD models after releasing the OLED version of the device.
The company itself, at the end of 2023, called the Steam Deck OLED the final and most verified version of a mobile PC. In addition to the display with increased contrast, the OLED modifications receive a slight boost in gaming performance and improved battery life compared to previous LCD versions.
The Steam Deck OLED is a portable console gaming PC running the Linux-based SteamOS operating system. The device is equipped with a 7.4-inch OLED screen, AMD processor, 16 GB RAM and 50 Wh battery.
It was previously reported that the Epic Games Store was giving away an action-packed dating sim game for free and forever.
