Running With Scissors studio announced the end of development on cooperative shooter Postal: Bullet Paradise just two days after its presentation. The official reason was the audience's alleged use of generalized AI when creating visual materials for the project, which, according to the company, caused significant damage to its reputation, DTF reported.

The game was developed by Goonswarm Games, a company famous for the Sin Slayers game series. However, after a wave of criticism, Running With Scissors announced that trust in the team was lost, causing the project to be cancelled.
At the same time, earlier in the project's Discord community, Running With Scissors co-founder Mike Jaret made harsh statements against users accusing the company of using AI. In an emotional message, he insulted critics, calling on them to leave the server and adding that “anti-AI art is destructive.”
The main complaints from players concern the logo and key images, which, in their opinion, show signs of AI use. Some have also suggested that in-game assets – including enemy sprites – may have been generated by AI.
Postal is a shooting game media franchise created and owned by Running with Scissors. Famous for its fast, violent gameplay and light humor.
