Japanese studio Game Freak, best known for the Pokemon series, has announced that their upcoming game Beast Of Reincarnation will be released on August 4, 2026.

In discussions under the video on various platforms, users are massively comparing the project to From Software's heavyweight Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, as in one scene the main character fends off six enemy attacks in a row.
The synopsis is as follows: “It is an action role-playing game with real-time combat and turn-based combat elements. It is an innovative action RPG for one person and one dog, caught up in a beautiful but cruel world.”
Target platforms include PC on Steam consoles and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
