A customer of a Goodwill consignment store in the US bought an AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT video card for only 5 USD. Tom's Hardware portal reported on the American's discovery.

This discovery can be considered a special success because the video card still provides stable performance in Full HD resolution, and the price of used copies on the secondary market can reach up to 500 USD.
As reported by Reddit user 12kdaysinthefire, he received a boosted version from ASRock. After purchase, the video card was restored: the owner replaced the thermal pads, applied new thermal paste and reinstalled the cooling system. According to him, after maintenance it operates normally.
Radeon RX 5700 XT was introduced in 2019 and became one of the first video cards based on the RDNA (Navi) architecture. The GPU is manufactured using 7nm process technology and is equipped with 2560 stream processors. The video card has 8 GB GDDR6 memory with a 256-bit bus. When sales started, the suggested price was 400 USD and the main competitor of this model was the Nvidia RTX 2060 Super.
