Russian shooter PIONER is available for PC users on Steam after a short delay. Previously, the project was released on the domestic service Rostelecom Games, and now it has been released on the international platform, iXBT.games reports.

The developers announced the full release of the game and its delay on Steam in the official community on VKontakte. The exact reason for the late release was not specified.
After launching on Steam, the first user reviews began to appear on the service. Some of it is ironic, including references to memes, but there are also more detailed assessments. Therefore, some players compare PIONER with Fallout 76 and Stalcraft, noting that despite its shortcomings and technical errors, the project may be of interest to fans of open-world MMO shooters.
At the same time, technical problems are reported on the forum. According to users, some spectators had difficulty logging into the game – the client froze on the authorization screen. The developers recommend restarting PIONER in such cases.
Additionally, players reported antivirus software activating the project's launcher, which in some cases was identified as potentially fraudulent. The developers have yet to publicly comment on the situation.
