Valve is said to have sold out its entire inventory of Steam Deck handheld game consoles in the United States. In the company's online store, a sign indicating a lack of stock appeared on the pages of all three current device models. This was reported by PC Mag.

It was previously reported that the 256GB LCD version of the Steam Deck, which was discontinued in December, was sold out. At the same time, there are no difficulties with the availability of models with OLED screens.
The company does not officially comment on the supply situation for the US market. Valve has previously warned that memory chip shortages are forcing it to reconsider the price and launch date of the Steam Machine and Steam Frame VR headset.
It is believed that the available supply of memory chips could be reallocated to the company's other products, which could negatively impact the production of the portable console to be released in 2022. The possibility of a price increase for future versions of Steam Deck cannot also be ruled out.
However, the device is still available outside the US. In some countries, the console is sold through Valve partners.
Previously, Apple could not hide the upcoming launch of iPhone 17e.
