The Metacritic aggregator is gradually compiling results for 2025. Portal administration up to list of the ten worst reviewed video games of the past 12 months.
So the worst game of the year, as expected, is MindsEye by former GTA series producer Leslie Benzies. The project received an extremely low score of 28 and became one of the most scandalous films in recent years. Nintendo's Fire Emblem Shadows took second place, and third was the action game Blood of Mehran in the spirit of Prince of Persia.
The top 10 also includes a video game based on Fast and the Furious, a game based on Tamagotchi, and other projects.
