Many specialized publications have published the first reviews of the older version of the Intel Core Ultra 3 processor with enhanced integrated graphics. IXBT's report allows us to form a more comprehensive picture of the capabilities of the new generation of mobile chips.

Judging by the results of independent tests, the Core Ultra 300 processor demonstrates comparability with the 16-core models of the previous generation Core Ultra 200, including the Core Ultra 9 285H. In a similar performance range are the solutions of competitors – AMD's Ryzen AI HX 370, as well as Apple chips of the Apple M4 and Apple M5 series.
The most notable changes concern the integrated graphics. The Arc B390's integrated graphics show strong growth and in some tests it outperforms the Radeon 890M by 50-70%. At the same time, the more powerful graphics cores Radeon 8050S and Radeon 8060S retain their leading positions, although direct comparison is conditional due to the difference in class and TDP range. At the same time, Core Ultra 3 reaches its power consumption ceiling much earlier than Ryzen AI Max.
In terms of graphics performance, the new Intel chips are approaching discrete solutions in the Laptop RTX 4050 series, which were previously considered unattainable for integrated graphics in low-power mobile processors.
In the past, users have complained about price increases and cancellations of video card orders.
