The developers of Europa Universalis V strategy have started to fix the bugs that players complained about after its release. The game has received a major patch.

It fixes over 350 different errors, including critical ones, which in certain cases crashed the game.
Gameplay improvements include:
- Countries involved in civil wars can no longer be invited to join defensive alliances;
- A marriage is automatically dissolved when one of the spouses dies;
- States with navies today suffer defeat in the same way as states with armies by losing entire units;
- The threshold for changing power in the colonies is 50,000, not 25,000.
A lot of adjustments have been made to the various situations that arise in the game as well as the behavior of the artificial intelligence. We also brought attention to localization issues, as players complained, among other things, about difficulties with the Russian language. Patch notes can be found at this link.
Gamers thanked the developer for fixing serious errors and also shared their wishes. They are asking to add the ability to speed up gameplay as well as continue studying AI behavior.
Let's remember that critics really liked Europa Universalis V, players also appreciated it, despite its overcomplication, awkward translation into several languages, including Russian, as well as errors that led to crashes.
