The land crop office (TMO) has not officially announced the time of 2025-2026 of Hazelnut purchase price. The basic price is valid in the season 2024-25: Levant is 130 TL/kg for quality, 132 TL/kg for Giresun quality and 125 TL/kg for sharp varieties.
TMO is expected to describe the basic price description in the first week of August; However, according to some sources, it is declared that the claim may be hung until the second or third week of August due to the fire in the forest.
The expected price will increase due to productivity loss. For example, the president of the goods exchanging Giresun Hamza Bölük said that there was a productivity at a rate of 15 matches 20 % and this will be reflected on the price. He warned that the price increased by up to 20 %could be seen in a short time depending on the need.
