Chelyabinsk residents invited Santa Claus to visit the boy who had no gifts at the ceremony

December 25, 2025

The people of Chelyabinsk were not indifferent to the story of the boy who did not have enough New Year's gifts at his kindergarten party. Responding townspeople raised money and invited Santa Claus to the child, Ura.ru reported, citing one of the event's organizers.

Chelyabinsk residents invited Santa Claus to visit the boy who had no gifts at the ceremony

“Concerned townspeople united and organized gifts from the real Santa Claus for the child whose story resonated throughout the country. And they even agreed that the gifts would be brought by a particularly good animator,” said Tatyana P., a participant in the collection.

The boy grew up in a large family, so in addition to Santa's appearance, people also paid for three sweet gifts – for the boy and his little relatives. The animator in the main role of the winter witch will visit the family this weekend.

What is interesting is that the townspeople began to actively give gifts to the deprived boy during the ceremony – candy and toys. For example, the editor-in-chief of the First Regional News Agency, Togzhan Mu, visited the boy and congratulated him and his parents. The family, which is going through this difficult period, thanked the people of Chelyabinsk for their concern.

Let us remind you that the story of the boy left without a gift became famous because of the scandal that his father caused by being filmed on video. It turned out that, before receiving the gift, the boy burst into tears, but Santa Claus did not pay attention to this and continued to lead the morning illumination. The man indignantly shouted at teachers and other parents, saying that he himself as a child believed in Santa Claus and wanted his children to believe too, and what is happening, in his opinion, has destroyed this belief.

Subsequently, the man was arrested by law enforcement officers – according to the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs, an administrative decree was drawn up against the 35-year-old father according to Part 1 of Art. 20.1 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (petty hooliganism). When the agency clarified, the Ural resident admitted his guilt and repented.
