Agency Director General Rafael Grossi said Tehran needs to open access to its nuclear facilities to the IAEA.
Grossi said the country not only has three main facilities for processing, converting and enriching uranium, but also many other important sites and research centers. RIA “News”.
He added that Iran's nuclear program is distinguished by its scale, scientific development and expansion plans, especially Russia's participation in the construction of new nuclear power plants.
He also reiterated the NPT agreement and the safeguards that required Tehran to provide agency inspectors with access to all of its nuclear infrastructure.
These demands remain in effect despite US statements to the contrary regarding the destruction of Iranian facilities.
At the beginning of December Grossi reportedthat IAEA experts were not allowed access to some of Iran's key nuclear facilities that were damaged after the June attack.
