In the Khasansky district of Primorsky Krai, investigators are determining the circumstances of a hunting accident; a man shot at his friend, but could not save the wounded man. This was reported by the Investigative Directorate of the Russian Federation Investigative Committee in the region.

According to the investigation, the incident occurred on the territory of the hunting area of the hunter and fisherman club. The suspect, due to careless handling of the weapon, opened fire towards his friend. The man suffered a gunshot wound and could not be saved.
A criminal case was initiated under Part 1 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, several examinations were scheduled. The gunman's weapons have been confiscated and the circumstances surrounding the incident are being determined.
Previously, in Volgograd, surgeons rescued a fisherman injured in the face by a harpoon. A 52-year-old patient was taken to the hospital in a seriously injured condition. He accidentally shot himself with a three-pronged harpoon, penetrating deeply into facial tissue. A foreign object was stuck one millimeter from the carotid artery.
