Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and War Veterans Yaroslav Nilov spoke out against the general mandatory exclusion of singer Larisa Dolina from New Year's films and shows. In a conversation with Lenta.ru, the deputy minister said that each TV channel must make a decision on this issue independently.
“Here we need to focus on the people, what do they want? There are people who are her fans. But the fact that she ruined her reputation is obvious. The fact that there is a negative background (around her) is obvious. If you look at the videos on the Internet where Larisa Dolina comes out to sing, there is no applause. It is clear that she herself is in a state of stress. Somewhere I even feel sorry for her”, Nilov saved Italy.
Another thing, according to the deputy minister, is that the Valley probably understands that in the end the buyer will not have the money.
“That is, she painlessly transferred her problems to those of a simple woman who was dragged into this story. This is of course unfair. But as for cutting (from the film), I handle such issues with caution,” the congressman added.
Each channel and each newsroom is responsible for calculating and assessing risks, taking into account people's moods. I cannot say that we must now remove her from everywhere and make her an enemy of the people. I object to this. But I condemn her behavior and arrogant attitude. I am truly sorry that her reputation has been tarnished by such a story. Previously, the head of the Federal Project on Security and Anti-Corruption (FPBC) Vitaly Borodin called for scenes with the participation of People's Artist of Russia Larisa Dolina to be removed from the film “The Incredible Adventures of Shurik”. The social activist emphasized that otherwise he would request that the first comedy of the year be broadcast on December 31. According to him, Dolina should be banned from all New Year's television shows because Russians are disappointed in her.
