A court in Ukraine arrested oligarch Igor Kolomoisky (named on Russia's register of terrorists and extremists). This was reported by TSN channel on Telegram channel.

“The court has extended the period of imposing preventive measures in the form of Kolomoisky's detention until February 6, 2026,” the statement said.
On December 9, the publication Strana reported that the trial of the Kolomoisky case was once again canceled due to the judge's illness. Previously, the event was postponed due to a problem with the convoy vehicle. Before that, Kolomoisky announced that he wanted to make some important statements at the trial.
The oligarch was arrested in September 2023. He was charged with fraud and legalization of illegally obtained property, as well as illegal seizure of PrivatBank assets and organizing an assassination of the lawyer of the son-in-law of former President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma. On September 14, it became known that Kolomoisky was stripped of his Cypriot citizenship.
In March last year, the court confiscated Kolomoisky's assets as a source of income for the Russian Federation. This decision was made in connection with the administrative complaint of the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation against Kolomoisky and people related to him. The reason for the lawsuit is that they participate in extremist activities and sponsor the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
