Valve has made a big change to the Marketplace rules Steam: the minimum price of any item is now fixed – 0.03 USD, which corresponds to 2.31 rubles. All lots cheaper than this value are automatically withdrawn and the price of things like cheap Counter-Strike 2 skins increases tenfold.

However, for the sale of items with a minimum price of 2.31 rubles, the commission currently reaches about 60-67%. The usual 13% is kept only at a cost of about 12 rubles or more.
Previously, the minimum price in different currencies was different: for example, 0.03 rubles in the Russian region and 0.03 USD. The disparity causes huge imbalances and creates opportunities for fraud. Now Valve has balanced the threshold lower globally.
Additionally, in some currencies it is not possible to place lots in kopecks – only integers are allowed.
